ATTEND A FUNERAL

According to the sanitary measures in force, the vaccination passport is no longer required and there is no limit to the number of people who can attend the funeral. Before traveling, check out the obituary to see if the family has chosen to share a Ritual at home or a live broadcast. You can also send flowers, a condolence card or even offer a book on mourning.

offer condolences

Here are a few ways you can express your sympathy:

  • Send a message of condolence to the family by clicking the button at the bottom of the obituary notice. Your message will be delivered as soon as possible by e-mail, by mail or directly to the funeral parlour, depending on the circumstances.
  • Take the time to write a more substantial card or email. Perhaps you have an anecdote or good memory about the deceased you’d like to share.
  • Don't hesitate to pick up the phone to express your support to your loved ones and lend an ear.
  • Get out the old photo albums: maybe there’s a nice picture, video or handwritten note you could share with the family.

COMMEMORATIVE CEREMONIES

Birthdays are always a source of apprehension and rekindle memories of the past with the loved one. Therefore, every year we organize commemorative days on Mother's Day, Father's Day, the day of the deceased in November as well as for the holiday season. They take place in our various sites to allow you to make a symbolic gesture for those who are no longer there. To receive our invitations to these events, subscribe to our newsletter at the bottom of this page.

memory wall

We have also created a virtual memory wall where you can write a word or a thought in memory of a loved one. These messages will be projected throughout the summer in the lobby of the Saint-Martin Mausoleum in Laval and in some of our branches.
